Coding for Carrots

It was introduced in the year 2017 during the computer science education week to celebrate 50 years of kids’ programming language. This Google Doodle was the combined effort of 3 different teams. The team of google doodle, the google blockly team, and a team of researchers from MIT scratch.

Coding carrots google doodles game is the 1st throwback game on the list. It allows the players to create commands to control the rabbit and collect the carrots. The game is divided into levels and get difficult at every level.

Cricket

This was also introduced in the year 2017 to celebrate ICC Champions Trophy. This can be also called as pest cricket as the team is combined with cricket (insect) and snails. The team of batsmen is 2 crickets (insect) and the bowling and the fielding is done by a team of snails.

Google says that they are aware that the game is loved by millions of fans worldwide. Google rediscovered the 8-bit memory game on the occasion of Pacman 30th anniversary.

Oskar Fischinger

Oskar Fischinger was well known as an amazing visual artist and filmmaker. This google doodle was introduced as a tribute to the artist on his 117th birthday. Between the 20s to 40s Fischinger created magic without computers in filmmaking.

Oskar Fischinger is still remembered for his ability to synchronize visual with music frame by frame. It also said that he spent months, sometimes years planning his creation.

Rockmore

Clara Rockmore a trained violinist at a young age has to give up the violin due to her medical condition. As it's very well said necessity is the mother of invention, Rockmore didn't lose hope and started making music from thin air. She not only invented theremin but also was also a well-known performer of the instrument. The google doodle game "Rockmore" was a tribute from Google to Clara Rockmore on her 105th Birthday.

Hip Hop

In the year 1973, an 18 year DJ known as Kool Herc launched back to school jam in New York. In the event, he chooses not to play whole music but on instrumental sections or breaks. During these sections, his friend Coke La Rock engaged the crowd with a microphone. That's how the world was introduced to hip hop. This Google doodle was created as a tribute to hip hop on its 44th anniversary.
